Kala Bears by Angie.

Distinctive hand made bears from Angie a wonderful German bear artist dwelling in the artist community of St Ives. Angie has been deeply envolved within art & design most of her life, experimenting with different materials and techniques in Tiffany and Macrame. In the 1980's, typical of the devout artist, she swapped her car for a sewing machine and began to explore new and exiting possibilities with fabric. And when a dear friend became very ill she made her a little bear to cheer her up...and realised how much comfort such a little bear companion could give... from this time forward Angie began to develop her distinctive bears, seeking out and consulting with former contacts &  freinds who have in the past designed for leading companies such as Steiff . She has now developed into to a very talented bear artist, creating OOAK bears with such love that the bears cannot help but bring joy and lasting companionship to who ever receives them.
