Steiff 1908 Vintage Mohair Teddy

This is a wonderful replica of an original brown mohair bear from 1908 He is 32cm tall and firmly stuffed in the traditional Steiff way with quality wood shavings and is endowed with the new soft-tone growler in his chest. He is faithful to the original right down to the last  detail - cut, colour, materials and workmanship are all perin keeping with the years of wear and natural ageing recreated painstakingly by hand by shaving the mohair plush  and subtle airbrushing - he even appears to have been attacked on the paw by moths! Finally he has the world renown black & white tag held to his tiny ear by the traditional gold plated Steiff ‘Button-in-ear’ and is from a limited edition of 1908 pieces worldwide.
