Steiff rattle teddy bear has be skilfully crafted from a vintage look slightly sparse, hazel coloured mohair, with matching felt paws and pads with hand-stitched claws.  He has a beguiling face with bright shining eyes and pert ears and hand stitched mouth and nose. Rattle teddy bear does, of course, have a rattle in his tummy and he also wears a vintage style rattle on a cord around his neck. He is fully jointed and bears white and red tag with the Steiff gold-plated button in ear. Steiff first made children's rattles in 1897, and it's no surprise that bears with rattles were popular. This beautiful bear takes us right back to both Steiff’s early days and to our own childhoods. Skilfully designed to encompass all the innovative periods of production, Rattle bear is a true traveller to last a life time.
