Where is it - the spirit of Christmas? With Artan we present a wise messenger, whose friendly, thoughtful look reminds us: "You yourself have to spread the magic, you yourself must carry peace unto the world!" Artan means "little bear" in Irish. His collar, made from dark olive green silk with hand embroidered decoration points to the Emerald Isle of the Fairies; also attached to the collar are little bells in patina finish which emit a gentle ring. Nose, paws and inner ears are colour-matched to the bells. With his slightly pointed elf-like ears you wonder whether Artan is a bear or a Christmas elf? In any case he is enigmatic: as mysterious as the festival which we fill with new life every year.
