There is much to do and see around the picturesque Village & Harbour of Boscastle and the surrounding area.

Explore stunning coastal and inland walks across breathtaking scenery and mystical glens. Visit the site of the former stone motte and bailey fortress, Bottreaux Castle, built between 1154 and 1189 and is from where the name Boscastle derived its name.

The Village boasts Three Inns, Three Rivers, three Churches and wonderful historic working Harbour.

We have listed below some of the interesting places to visit, eat drink and be merry!

The Walking Week will be from Monday 4th to Friday 8th April this year. From the very best of Britain’s coastline to wonderful walks amid woods and streams, it’s all on offer during Boscastle’s increasingly popular Walking Week.

The 2011 festival of food, arts and crafts will be the sixth to be held in Boscastle. The event, born out of a sense of community regeneration following the flood of 2004, has now become firmly established on the festival scene and is arguably the biggest and best of its kind to be held in Cornwall.
