Steiff Margarete's Teddy Bear Replica 1909 is lovingly hand crafted from the finest light golden colour Schulte mohair. He is fully jointed and is gently stuffed with traditional wood shavings. Deep his chest lays a sonorous growler, just as the original bear was made in 1909. He has sparkling jet black boot-button wooden eyes. This bear is a truthfully historic collector’s piece. It has been produced to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the passing away of the founder Margarete Steiff On the 9th May 1909.  A truly exceptional bear standing at 46cm, he ‘bears’ the mark of a replica, a white tag with black lettering held firmly by an underscored button in ear made of patinated steel.

A limited edition 1,909 pieces of this bear will be released worldwide.
