Torquil is made from a rather extravagant, wavy plush fur in pale grey tipped over slate grey which gives the illusion of a tough, coarse texture, but in fact is silky-soft.  He is a handsome bear with refined facial qualities, a long muzzle with hand-stitched nose and mouth and large jet eyes. Torquil is fully jointed and perfectly weighted and balanced and has rich brown paw pads, with grey stitched claws.  Torquil wears a distinguished organza ribbon decorated with a wooden bead and charm.
