Steiff’s Alexander Teddy Bear is named after Prussian scientist Alexander von Humboldt, whose work on botanical geography laid the foundation for the field of biogeography. Alexander bear is made from a new Steiff Schulte mohair blend in a mottled brown, he is five ways jointed and his paw pads are a soft woollen felt material. On Alexander´s paw, an intricately made parrot sits proudly - made of mohair and wool felt with extensive airbrushing. This Teddy pays tribute to a true pioneer in the exploration of one of the world´s greatest Paradise Jungles.

Steiff's Alexander Teddy Bear is from a Limited Edition of 1500 pieces worldwide and bears the gold-plated "button in ear" and red and white label exclusive to Steiff Limited Editions.

Delivered in a Steiff gift box with numbered certificate of authenticity
