Steiff's Dolly Replica teddy bear was originally made in honour of the US presidential elections of 1913 – and now she has returned as a replica to mark her own centenary year…Designed originally in the bright red, white and blue colours of the United States in mind, dolly’s finest mohair coat is now a little more subtly faded ... a result of age… though still with a blue body, arms and legs, a white head and a red collar which is made from pure new wool. She has traditional glass eyes, a hand-stitched nose, mouth and claws; she is fully jointed and stuffed with traditional swiss wood shavings with a squeaker in her tummy. Limited Edition of 1000 Limited Edition worldwide she proudly bears the black and white label held firmly with a replica underscored Steiff motif patinated steel "button in ear". She will arrive in a Steiff box, complete with numbered certificate of authenticity.
