1906 was the year in which "Barle" was given the name "Teddy Bear", after US President Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt. This fantastic replica is made from high quality light blond mohair and is an impressive 50cm in size. He is stuffed with wood shavings, has wooden eyes and the head and arms are loosely attached to his body.

Whilst recreating the highly successful bear of his day, he also conveys the passage of time and you can see where the years have left their mark on him, particularly on the paw pads and joints, as it looks like he has quite a few miles under his belt. The ageing has been done so well, that many people would think this was an original bear from 1906!!

It has the famous "Button in Ear" and a white label, showing that it is only limited to 906 pieces worldwide, making a very collectable bear.
