This unusual name is taken from the word “pantomime,” Created  by designer, Albert Schlopsnies, they first appeared in the Steiff catalogue back in 1911. This limited edition replica is a 14” ‘baby’ Pantom bear, based on the original Schlopsnies design. Fully functional as a marionette with traditional loose jointing and sturdy body, Bertie is made of soft chestnut brown mohair, and has the most beguiling face imaginable! He is from Steiff's North American Exclusives and is one of a limited edition of 1911 distinctive collectible teddy bears.
