Most of the time, however, they end up on an exciting adventure. Our furry friends have inspired positive environmental changes since their television debut in 1973. Since their last television appearance, the Wombles have been in hibernation – ideal for Orinoco, because he likes to take a nap! But now the Wombles are back to inspire a new generation. Orinoco is the most endearing of all wombles. His free spirit is loved by all, although his relaxed attitude to work certainly does not go unnoticed. And when he's not playing on his guitar, taking a nap or eating cake, he's doing what he loves the most... help with garbage collection and recycling. In the spirit of Womble, the Steiff Orinoco is made of sustainable linen material and filled with recycled PET plastic bottles.
