 This is a wonderful replica of Steiff’s 1904 original interpretation of Beatrix Potter’s adventurous and arguably, the best known little character, Peter Rabbit. He is lovingly recreated from luxurious cotton velvet and stuffed with kapok and Steiff’s traditional wood shavings.  He is dressed in an embroidered blue felt jacket with red slippers that bear the vintage Steiff logo stamped on the bottom.  In Steiff’s own words "this is the ultimate Peter Rabbit". Limited Edition of 1500 pieces worldwide, Peter Rabbit bears the black and white label held firmly with a replica elephant motif patinated steel "button in ear".
