Steiff's 1934 Replica Teddy Bear is hand made from finest mohair which cleverly emulates sun beaching characteristic of aged blond mohair.

This beautiful replica comes in a pale cornflower coloured long pile mohair and gives the appearance that this teddy has had seen a lot of sun over the decades and has seen much of the world through his shiny hand-blown glass pupil eyes, as only to be expected, he is also traditionally stuffed in the time honoured way with finest Swiss wood shavings.

When you look at him closely, you will find a very subtle airbrushing around his eyes, nose and mouth stitching and on the pale felt paw pads that also show the aging effects of sun-bleaching. This suits perfectly the aged character of the splendid mohair fabric that was used exclusively for this 1934 Replica.

He is a Limited edition of 1000 pieces and bears the patinated steel. “Button in ear" from the period and black and white label exclusive to Steiff Limited Edition Replicas.

Delivered in a Steiff gift box with numbered certificate of authenticity
